Hi I’m Shanice, creator of Carnival and Beyond. I started this travel blog to celebrate my love for; the music, the costumes, the energy, the culture and the people. I want persons to experience that feeling you get when your right in the middle of the celebration. As an island girl carnival has always been more than just an event to me its an experience everyone should get to have at least once.
After going Carnival after Carnival and sharing my experiences with my friends and my Instagram, I wanted to take things further.
As a Tourism Graduate I always had a fascination for travel, going to new destinations and having experiences that feel special. I don’t want to only share the tips and tricks but I want you to “See through my eyes”.
I’ll share the carnivals, the events, the destinations, the food, the culture and the moments that stand out along the way, the moments that surprised me and ones I feel in love with.
While Carnival is where it all started I want “the Beyond” to give us room to explore everything that makes travel exciting not only Caribbean culture but worldwide experiences.
